How you're charged - no surprises

Prices are in USD and shown before tax. The list price is the base - nothing is padded in.
Taxes (GST/VAT) are added on top at checkout, based on your country - so your total is the price plus your local tax.
Pay in your currency. You can switch the display/payment currency at checkout; it's the same amount converted at the live rate, not a different price.
Regional pricing. In some countries checkout may show a locally adjusted price (purchasing-power pricing) so the cost is fair worldwide. Taxes are then applied to that local price.
Sponsor slots are demand-priced. A slot that sells out for a full week gets a small price step-up the next week, and eases back toward the $24 floor otherwise. Payments are handled securely by Dodo Payments.

The mechanism

How rank actually works.

The score is a weighted composite, not a vote count: unique visitors, dwell time, how spread out your traffic is geographically, and - weighted hardest - how often and how fast you answer questions. Raw impressions barely move it, which is the point.

Ranking is dynamic and relative to your own category. Active founder responses earn verified badges and an organic algorithm boost. Sit on unanswered questions past 48 hours and your rank quietly decays.

Scores are recalculated every 24 hours over a rolling 7-day engagement window - never reset, always earned.
