Due to the immediate digital provisioning of live platform inventory, instantaneous OpenGraph scraping, immediate rank scoring activation, and irreversible public visibility across our global network, ALL PAYMENTS MADE ON PRODUCT BILLBOARDS ARE FINAL AND STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE. This applies to sponsor bookings and recurring subscription fees. Listing a product is free and is never charged for.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing `productbillboards.com`, listing a product billboard, booking a sponsor placement, or subscribing to Founder Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.
2. No Refund Policy (Detailed)
Please review our non-refundable purchase terms prior to completing any checkout:
- Listing a product (free): Listing is free for everyone, with no cap and no payment of any kind. A Product Billboards account is required so the listing has an owner, and nothing else. There is no listing fee to refund.
- Fixed Sponsor Slot Bookings (Global & Category): Sponsor slots represent dedicated, time-locked platform inventory reserved exclusively for your product. Once a booking is locked, that slot is made unavailable to other advertisers. Cancellations or refunds for booked sponsor slots are not permitted.
- Founder Pro Subscriptions (Monthly & Annual): Subscriptions provide ongoing access to advanced geo/referrer analytics, founder reply badges, and AMA moderation tools. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your self-serve billing portal to stop future renewals. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle, and no partial or prorated refunds are issued for unused time.
3. Listing Guidelines & Community Standards
Product Billboards is a curated, high-signal discovery network for builders. All submitted websites and products must adhere to the following standards:
- Must be a working software product, tool, mobile app, API, SaaS, newsletter, or creator asset.
- Must have a valid, working domain and reachable OpenGraph image.
- Prohibited Content: Phishing, malware, illegal gambling, hate speech, adult content, deceptive get-rich-quick schemes, or counterfeit products are strictly prohibited.
* We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these safety guidelines without notice and without eligibility for a refund.
4. Transparent Rank & Anti-Manipulation Rules
Our platform rank is computed algorithmically based on genuine visitor retention, dwell time, AMA response speed, and authentic explorer interactions.
- Only One Position Per Feed Is For Sale: Exactly one placement in each ranked feed can be bought - position #4 on the home feed and position #3 in each category feed. It is explicitly labelled “Sponsored” and inserted at that fixed index, so it never displaces an organic listing. Every other position in every feed, above it and below it, is strictly earned by community engagement and is not for sale at any price. The shuffled Random deck is not ranked, so a sponsored billboard can surface anywhere in it; it stays badged.
- Anti-Bot Manipulation: Any automated bot traffic, fake upvote rings, artificial click scripts, or coordinate manipulation will trigger our anti-fraud engine, resulting in rank penalties, blacklisting, or delisting.
5. Billing & Payment Processing
All credit card transactions, invoices, and payment data are securely processed by our merchant partner Dodo Payments. We do not store or transmit raw payment credentials on our servers. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing details for all purchases.
6. Limitation of Liability
Product Billboards is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee specific visitor conversion numbers, revenue figures, or rankings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Product Billboards and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
7. Content Use by AI Systems
Crawling this site and using what you find are separate permissions, and we state both. The machine-readable form of this section is the Content-Signal directive in robots.txt: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no.
- Search indexing (yes): index these pages and link to them.
- AI answers (yes): you may read this content to answer a user's question, including through our Markdown twins, llms.txt and public API. Attribute the answer to the page it came from.
- Model training (no): this content is not made available for training or fine-tuning generative models. This is a stated preference and a term of use, not a technical control.
Founder-submitted material stays the property of the founder who submitted it; these terms govern the site's own presentation of it.
